Beautiful 2 bedroom beach rental across the street from the ocean, with 3 extra beds.
This house is a duplex 1,500. square feet, on a 10,000 square foot lot.
There is one bathroom with a double shower, and towels are provided.
The master bedroom has 2 walk-in closets and a king size bed. The smaller bedroom has a queen size bed. Each bedroom has a TV , and DVD player and stereo.
There are 3 extra sofa daybeds in the living room.
The house has a outside private 7 foot by 7 foot Jacuzzi brand Jacuzzi on the very large redwood deck.
The solar heated 48 foot long 8 foot deep lap pool won first place from The National Pool and Spa Association, for "The Most Natural Pool in Southern California".
There are several off street parking spaces in the long drive way.
There is a connecting door between the bedrooms.
Animals are welcome, there is a large tropical front yard that they can use.
This house has a tropical fenced in yard, portable radio, 3 TV's, DVD players, VCR, boogie boards, 4 skylights, high ceilings.
Included is cable TV, washer and dryer.
The kitchen has filtered water and filtered ice, a dishwasher, a microwave, a double oven, extra toaster oven, a garbage disposal, a toaster, and a blender.
The house has high speed wireless inter - net hook up available.
On the back redwood deck is a gas grill and burner.
There is a private roofed and shuttered patio area off the pool in the back lush yard.
The property is one block from 101 Coast Highway.
There is beach towels, beach chairs, and a large cooler.
It is one block away from Stone Steps Beach that often does have life guards during the summer, which was rated the most private beach in San Diego, about one mile from Moonlight Beach- which has life guards - a play ground, showers and camp fire pits and bar-b-q's, and a half a mile from Beacons Beach.
There is an excellent local Golf Course about a mile away.
There is two local Shopping Malls about 5 minutes away. It is about three minutes away from downtown Encinitas.
Rates
There is a City Hotel Tax of 10% due on stays of 30 days or less, stays of 31 days do not pay this tax.
June - August the monthly rent is $7,500. ,$2,100. per week, it is $325. per day from June - September 1. If you stay for 7 days or more during this time the daily rate is $300..
The rest of the year the rate is $140. a day, and $980. a week. If you stay for 7 days or more during this time the daily rate is $160.. For September - May if you stay under 7 days the rent is $160. a day. Other than the summer the monthly rate is $3,000. for September - May.
There is a $300. deposit, $100. cleaning fee - $100. animal cleaning fee.
Half of the rent , and the $300 refundable deposit, and the cleaning fee is required for reservation.The other half of the rent is due before 30 days prior to moving in.
I prefer cash deposits to my Bank of America checking account. I will take personal checks up to 30 day's prior to check in. After that you can make a deposit to my checking account, credit cards are accepted through Pay-Pal, Pay-Pal, money order, or cashiers check.
Any fee's associated with returned check's will be paid by the renter.

Wow! Staying in Rhett’s Neptune Ave. vacation home was truly an “ultimate” southern California beach town experience! The location is awesome, steps from the beach stairs. All the homes on Neptune are ‘grand’, and Rhett’s is no exception. It has a mysterious, tropical paradise-like feel. I was totally relaxed and felt at home. The curvaceous swimming pool (Rhett told me it won an award) with its crystal rock waterfall glowing at night was a mind blower. Floating, looking up at the towering palms – I was in a fantasy realm. The furnished, bamboo enclosed porch was another great place to hang – and the kitchen was amazing. I love to cook, and I did! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. To have a vacation rental exceed my expectations was a real treat. Rhett was a gracious and accommodating host. Go for it!!

Hi Rhett,
I just wanted to say thank you again! The rental had everything that we were looking for--close beach access, an awesome hot tub, and the ping pong and pool tables were an added bonus. It was a very comfortable space, and we enjoyed the artwork. Although we didn't use the pool, the waterfall was so relaxing to hear while sitting out on the patio.
